arizona acting workshops by faith Hibbs-clark

Faith Hibbs-Clark, CSA offers workshops to actors to help them audition and perform better. She has been teaching workshops for 9 years with rave REVIEWS. Faith teaches these workshops from the unique perspective of a working casting director. Who better to help you through the audition process, than Arizona’s #1 Casting Director for film and television? Find out what beginning and top working actors say about Faith’s workshops

What other actors have said about these workshops

"This is not a job interview or audition. The presence of a Casting Director is neither a guarantee nor a promise of employment. The intent of the class is solely educational. Attending a workshop is not a way to obtain employment as an actor. Such contact as you may have with a Casting Director at a workshop rarely results in any further contact with that Casting Director or any company affiliated with that Casting Director."

Please be aware of the following changes and additions to my workshop schedule for the remainder of 2009. We are in the midst of our busiest season ever and as a result, I have had to cancel my out of town workshops. I have added a few local workshops instead. Due to popular demand, I have added additional commercial auditioning workshops so that you can participate in my commercial showcase. I have also added a teen auditioning for film workshop.

The showcases are a "reward" for students who have taken classes with me. There is not a fee associated with participating in the showcases except that you are responsible for taking the required workshops that are pre-requisites. Our showcases take place only once or twice a year.

Commercial Showcase - December 11th 2009 - This showcase will be held at my Phoenix Studio. Agents and other industry professionals will be attending to watch you perform a commercial audition. You will have an opportunity to meet and chat with agents and professionals. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to sign with an agent for commercial work in this market. To participate, there are two workshops required, "Auditioning for Commercials I" & "Auditioning for Commercials II."

November 17th - Teen Auditioning for Film I (age 11-15)     4PM - 8PM      $75      Phoenix, AZ

This workshop combines the best of AUDITING FOR FILM WORKSHOP and COMMRECIAL AUDITIONING and combines it into a one-day “teen friendly” course. See separate workshop description for more detail.

December 5th - Auditioning for Commercials I (16 & up)     1PM - 7PM      $99        Phoenix, AZ

Commercial acting is the bread and butter work for actors in this market, yet few actors seem to know how to audition for them. I see many talented actors that don't know how to audition for commercials. There are so many small things that can make a BIG difference. The question is, do you know what these things are and do you know WHY they are important?

As a casting director, I see what goes on behind the scenes, I hear what the producers say, and what they like or don't like. I can help you understand what to do to get more parts in commercials, based on that information. You will have lots of time on camera to work on specific skills. This is not a fluff and puff class. It is hands on and practical.

It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or have years of experience, I guarantee you will learn things in my workshop that you have never learned before. With lots of time on camera, and individual feedback, you can’t afford to miss this intensive one-day workshop. For actors of all levels who are 16 or older.

December 6th - Auditioning for Film II (16 & up) 1PM - 8PM $125 Phoenix, AZ (includes pizza lunch)

This workshop picks up where the first workshop leaves off. It introduces the actor to more intense and complicated audition situations and introduces more advanced skills. Since the methods taught in this workshop expand upload the unique methods presented in the first workshop, AUDITION FOR FILM I is a prerequisite to this workshop no matter what your experience level. Intended for participants 16 years and older.

*remember that taking both commercial workshops allows you to participate on in the commercial showcase on December 11th
